Global Ethics

I’m thinking globally here. As a precept prior to reading this, imagine yourself as a nation and looking at other nations and what’s going on inside of us all. Maybe imagine yourself as a philosopher?

The most unfortunate thing is that there are people who have been so wronged or they came into the world broken and those people do come together and they do things that are ugly and bad and wrong and they hurt people and that’s why the good people need to come together and unite and do the good work. This is the core of ethics. I think. And, a really good run-on sentence IMHO.

There are more good people than there are evil people, but it takes longer to build good things: good offspring, building, art, etc. Destruction is easy (explosions) so the bad to have an advantage, even though they’re small.

I have sense that we all know this, but we are so distracted with our survival that we don’t see it so clearly.
